It's the Start of the Holiday Season at Walt Disney World

Halloween may have just ended, but for Walt Disney World, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.  Starting this Friday November 7, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will begin at the Magic Kingdom, and the Osborne Spectacle of Dancing Lights will premiere at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a celebration in the Magic Kingdom with a magical holiday parade, featuring Santa Claus.  There are also spectacular holiday themed fireworks, best seen in front of Cinderella Castle.  Cookies and hot chocolate are available for guests to enjoy, as well as many holiday shows and entertainment.  You can meet your favorite characters, dressed for the occasion.  This is a separate ticketed event occuring select nights through December 19, and begins after park close.
The Osborne Spectacle of Dancing Lights at Disney's Hollywood Studios is an absolute must-see.  The streets of America are lined with bulbs that dance to the holiday music playing.  The idea came from Jennings Osborne and his family in Arkansas.  He acquired an outrageous amount of lights throughout the years and had the dancing lights tradition.  He then shared his spectacular show with Walt Disney World in 1995 and the rest is history.  At no additional cost to your theme park ticket, you can enjoy the awe-inspiring show for yourself.  You certainly will not want to miss it.
If you are ready to get in the holiday spirit, there is no better place to visit than Walt Disney World!
